What you need to know for your Missing Persons Search in Amsterdam

Who to contact:

1. Amsterdam Police:  +31 (0)900 88 44

Contact the Amsterdam Police  immediately (any branch or branch nearest to you)to let them know about the Missing Person.
They will open up a missing persons file called a “Protocol” and assign an Inspector to the case.
After the first 48 hours of a person going missing, things start to move more quickly as first we need to see whether the person returns home.
