Exhibitions of Paul's Photographic Work

Paul's first professional exhibition was held jointly with fellow photographer and friend, Lauro Govoni, in Amsterdam, on the 25th August 2008.
It was the first time that Paul exhibited his photographic work and he was both nervous and excited about it. As you can see from the video, many friends came buy for the launch and Paul proudly sold one of his photos! The theme "On the Surface an Ideal, Under the Surface, a Reality", was quite a deep one and when you asked Paul about his work, his answers were very deep and thought-provoking. He truly wanted us to see beyond the very first superficial first impressions, to what he was really telling as a story behind each shot. It was a privilege for us to be there for this first and only exhibition that Paul co-hosted. Gone too soon, he had so much more to share with us, which we will do at the upcoming Exhibition of his work in Dublin in 2013. |

First Exhibition of Paul's Photographs due in Dublin 2013/2014

We are very proud to be working on the first posthumous exhibition of Paul's photographic work, which hopefully will be held in Dublin in 2013. (Date and location to be later confirmed).
Deirdre Donoghue, a dear friend of Paul's and fellow college-mate, has kindly offered to help the Paul Nolan Miralles Association mount the first exhibition next year. Deirdre is a seasoned photographer herself and has already organized many successful photographic exhibitions in several cities in Europe. Rosario Nolan, Paul's mother, has already been painstakingly scanning all of the original negatives from Paul's vast body of work, to prepare for the exhibition.
